  John Sr. Deiptt, born Abt. 1675 in Bath, North Carolina; died Bef. June 17, 1724 in Bath, Craven County,  North Carolina.  He married  Penelope Norwood Abt. 1700 in Bath, Craven County,  North Carolina.

  Penelope Norwood, born Abt. 1680 in Bath, Craven County,  North Carolina; died Bef. August 27, 1735 in Craven County, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of  Edward Norwood and  Ann Townson.
