VINA JANE MITCHELL

Vina was the daughter of R.M.J. Mitchell Sr. and Rhoda Ann Elizabeth Howell. Vina was born abt. 1850 in Butler Co. Al. and died abt. 1885 in Butler Co.Al. She is buried at Elizabeth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Mckenzie Butler Co. Al. She Married Samuel Parker. Vina was the 1st person buried at Elizabeth Cemetery. 1.Rhoda (Rody) Ann Elizabeth Parker born October 29th 1868 died June 22 1936

 Rhoda Parker married John Henry Gipson  son of John Gipson and Ellender Gorum. He was born Nov. 4th 1858 and died Dec 16th 1907. Both Rhoda and john Henry Gipson  are buried at Elizabeth Cemetery with  Rhoda's mother Vina Jane Mitchell. Children of Rhoda Parker and John Henry Gipson are:

2.Vina Ruth Gipson born Jan. 1890 died 1943 married D.C. Piggott

3.Forrest Grover Gipson  born Dec. 17th 1892 died October 18th 1965

4.Minnie Gipson born June 27th 1895 died October 6th 1899

5.Carl Gipson born May 28th 1898 died April 5th 1953

6.Pleasant Gipson born 1900 died 1972 married Beatrice Hammock

7.Eugene Gipson born Jan.7th 1907 died March 3rd 1991 married Martha Lula Wright

8.Cl;aude Gipson born July 18th 1908 died Feb. 14th1976 married Jane Gorum.
